Since this is a constantly developing situation, everything is subject to change. We understand that people's daily lives, travel plans, etc. will be constantly evolving. This is extremely flexible and on an as-needed basis so please sign up even if you’re not sure what your life will look like in a week or two. We’re all in the same boat!
Please only sign up if you are feeling healthy, are displaying no symptoms, have not traveled out of the country or come in contact with a sick person in the past 14 days, AND HAVE BEEN PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING.
Once you sign up, we will contact you as requests come in for assistance. We’ll send you a text alert with the request, and upon your confirmation we will put you in touch with the agency or person in need to work out details.

OPERATION LOVE-BUG
We are wanting everyone to feel the love! So, we are collecting cards or blankets to take to Senior Care Facilities/ Nursing homes around the Cape Fear Region. You can drop donations off at 5041 New Center Dr. Suite 215! |
BIRTHDAY BUDDIES
Due to the impact of COVID- 19, we find it more important than ever to celebrate our Little Buddies on their big day! A few days before each child's birthday we will be delivering a "party in a box" to each family that signs up. These boxes will include; cake making supplies, goodie bags for siblings, and handpicked gifts for the birthday child. To make this happen we will need donations of; cake mix, sprinkles, frosting, candles, plates, napkins, balloons, a helium tank, gift bags, small goodie bag prizes, and goodie bags, tissue paper, birthday gifts, and party games. Please note that we will also accept gently used party supplies as well! Items can be dropped off at the Big Buddy/ Cape Fear Volunteer Center Office, 5041 New Centre Dr. Suite 215, or e-mail [email protected] for alternate drop- off arrangements.
